A Request for My Readers

If you know me "In Real Life" (or some semblance thereof) I ask you to remember a few things as you read through this blog --

This is a snapshot, thoughts, stream of consciousness from one moment in my day. It's not the complete picture. If you want to know how I'm doing, ask me. Please don't assume you know everything because you're reading along here.

I ask that if you're here, and I know you in real life, you let me know that you're reading along. I want to have my blog available to read to anyone who may find themselves in my shoes, or anyone who may find comfort here anonymously; and yet, it makes me scared to think of my friends or family or casual acquaintances "spying" on me here. I don't want to make this place a permissions only entry. I thank you for your respect in allowing me to keep this place open for others to read. This is always subject to change.

If you've found yourself here because you too are facing the path of having lost a child, having lost the very ground you took for granted in standing upon, I am so sorry that you're here. I hope that reading my words is somehow helpful in your journey, as the words of so many who walk a similar path have been a lifeline for me.
